Hello!

Weird question maybe  ^idiot^ but I've not been able to see the answer to this in any books or internet searches thus far...

When can I keep a piece of a meal left by DD for her to have later that day / next day etc if kept in fridge, what is the age that this is ok to do so and is there anything i should do - heat fully, partially, not at all etc?

For example she may only eat half a bowl of pasta with meat & tomato sauce that she was spoon eating so can i give the bit she left in her bowl to her the following day if i kept it on the fridge?

Thanks in advance for your help with this and ta for continually giving an amazing service on this site.

Hi Charlie

If you have already heated it up then I would suggest throwing away what she hasnt had.

If you only heat up half an amount and put the uncooked/unheated portion in the fridge for 24 hours.

So with any age of baby or child only heat up what you want. Cover the remaining food (uncooked/unheated) in fridge for 24 hours.

To be honest, I do this with any of our food unless the instructions differ.
