High HCG but bleed at 5+4 could it be ok?

Hi
I wondered if you could help me

I have posted this on the twins and multiple thread also

I am 5+4 weeks pregnant today and when i got up had a red bleed
It wasnt a lot but has been present every time I wipe and is def fresh blood

My HCG levels were 891 on 17dpo

and 6800 on 21dpo and my prog reading was 36
so all looked good until this morning

I havent had any cramps but am really worried, but did read somewere that bleeds in early pregnancy are more common with twins

My EPU wont see me without a referral from my gp and they are closed today so have to wait until tom to see them
but wondered if anyone could help?

Although red bleeds can be a bad sign, there are quite a few ladies on here who have had red bleeds in early pregnancy (and even into the second tri and beyond) and been fine. I myself had a bleed (though brown in my case) at nearly 12w. The sonographer explained to me that bleeding in (a successful) pregnancy is far more common than people think.

I know how awful it is when you start to bleed when you have waited so long to get pg

I bled at 5+5wks and VERY heavy so much that they said I would MC them both BUT they both survived but I carried on bleeding for 13wks which was horendous and the outcome is our amazing 8mth old twins so hang in there
