HI Girls,
Did a very silly thing last night.
Whilst doing my menopur injection in my tummy I realised as I pressed the plunger down that I hadn't got the air out of the syringe - and so about half an inch's worth of air from the syringe went into my tummy! (Just don't know how it happened as I'm so careful about even tiny air bubbles) Anyhow, called the Clinic's emergency Nurse who said it had never happened before and to go to A and E To get checked out. Mad panic!
Got to A and E and basically the Nurse and then the Doctor said because it went into my tummy and not a vein, and because it was only a relatively small amount I would be fine. He did some checks on me and said I was fine to go home. He also said if anything nasty was to happen it would've done so in the first hour (great - I'd been sat in the waiting room for 2 hours!)
Anyway, Although I feel normal today, it's really shaken me. Just wondered if anyone had done similar? And am I hopefully out of the danger zone, ie not going to get poorly from it now? Any advice?
Thanks Girls
