Low hcg levels. Any advise?

Hi

I got my bfp on a cb digi on Wednesday  (at 12dp3dt). I went for a blood test later that day  and the results were:
HCG 17 miu/ml
Progesterone 66.2 ng/ml

I'm not considered pg until it hits 25! :(

Results Friday  (at14dp3dt):
HCG 32 miu/ml
Progesterone 51 ng/ml
So as they doubled so I'm still in the game :)

My clinic were pleased that it had doubled but recommended that as the number are low I have to do pregynl 1500 injections yesterday (Friday), Sunday and Tuesday to see if they will help. They want me to go for another blood test then on Thursday

I was hoping that there is someone out there who has been in this situation and what their outcome was? Is there anything that can be done apart from the pregynl injections?

Btw I'm on progesterone, clexane, baby aspirin, high dose folic acid, cyclacur (oestrogen) and 10mg of pred.

Keep the faith still. I remember another serum lady petertavypiper having low bhcg levels & she went on to have a successful pregnancy. She was a serum lady too (sorry I'm stalking the board at the mo as I had planned to go out next week for initial consult). Her treatment was April 2013 if you want to search the threads. I think she did the rescue shots.  I hope this helps.

Thanks so much Mitch for your post.

I've found her profile and had a good read in the March/April thread. Her HCG levels were higher than mine even in the early days but the pregynl rescue shots seemed to do the trick for her so am going to hope it does it for me too! I'm so glad you stalking the boards and found my post as I really needed some reassurance. I've been slowly going mad between thinking it's all over and hoping that lo pulls through.

I now might try to get the guts up to PM her!! Thanks again.

Glad I could help you and wishing you all the best Tigger  ^hugme^, I know only too well how horrible the wait is and the emotions swinging from hope to utter despair.  I hope you have PM'd her and got some reassurance too.
