undesended testical

Hi there,

im posting cuz my DH has a question, we have been told by SA only that the reason we cannot concieve is because of a male factor, we have gone thro isci, which was a BFN and now on 2ww with natual fet.

this question comes up as a counciller mentioned that this could be a problem, but DH has never been checked out in that dept, but one of his testicals keeps going 'back into him' if that makes sense? he can push it up and down in and out of his body.....do you think this could be a problem? we never thot of it before as nothing has ever been mentioned...now tho...

?

as anyone heard of this before?

I would ask your GP to refer him to a urologist. Was this not mentioned when his low sperm count was discovered?

The testicals are supposed to remain outside the body as it is too hot for the sperm in the body.

whats a urologist?

so it could be a problem? yer thats why DH is a bit angry, as they have just said that its a male problem and nothing else done about it.

A urologist is in essence the male equivalent of a gynaecologist (although they also look at womens urinary problems too)

i will let DH know, (we have private medical insurance so could be covered under that.)
