Hi Ashjee Unica, The total costs of the ICSI Cycle with donated oocytes is Euro 4.500,-.
The costs of ICSI Cycle  with your own ovaries is Euro 2.600. Check it out www.unica.cz
The Clinic is much nicer (looking) than Reprofit hopefully I won't get beat up for saying so, just my opinion. I've been to both so I feel I could say so. Just want you ladies to know that you have choices.

600 Euros is worth the shorter wait time to me Linda, compared to all I've spent already, Especially with no baby and my age, waiting 10 months, I will only be a year older.

 

Gonnabe I agree totally although most on the Czech Thread are loyal to Reprofit, 600 Euros is nothing when I compare it to what DH and I have spent already. I have mix feelings about Reprofit not bashing it but Stepan it a bit overwhelmed in my opinion just too busy. Even returning patients have a long wait. I've made this decision after careful thought and consideration and after speaking with my friends who have had success after only 1 DE cycle. I know that it not 100% but after meeting with the staff and doctors when I was in Brno and the quick email response and the short waitlist it's all worth it. I will keep you posted.

 

Interesting, I've been hearing a lot about this clinic lately, and some of Reprofit staff were once at Unica, I am scheduled to Brno in 7 days  for my frosties,  maybe I will stop by and check it out.

I would myself sooner wait to get it cheaper. I have also spent a lot on cycles but another 600 everytime i go would mean one less go. Reprofit used to be a lot cheaper when i first started to go it was 2800 euros a go now i think it's 3900 which i like a £1000 a go more but they still seem to get the customers. I got a BFP for the first time in 12 years since my last MC but it wasn't to be. Not only that dh doesn't want to change clinics. I am sure the ladies who can afford it will jump at the chance where as me i don't mind the wait because it takes me a year to save anyway.

Wishing you lots of luck Linda, just presenting options for the ladies on here that don't want to wait 10 months, it's not an option for everyone obviously but for those that are open to other options here's one. There are many clinics in Czech Republic that do good work. No one is suggesting that you change clinics, for those that are open to options this is who this post is intended for. If it doesn't apply to you it doesn't apply to you, no love lost

If anyone knows of a good clinc in czech that is cheaper than reprofit let me know think the money side would change dh's mind lol.

It is always good to hear of new clinics that is how reprofit got a good name by ladies trying them out.

Have already posted on here about this clinic and as i said i was impressed, but they only treat up to 50  like Repromeda stick to the rules, also  like Repromeda a stickler on blood test. I believe S ask you to get them done but you don't have to give any proof of this, which dont bother me as it saves a few quid getting them done in U.K.  Single girls will I,m afraid don't have much choice and will have to stick with Reprofit as its really illegal in CZ to treat single women.
Do you know if you have to have a solicitor document your treatment at this clinic as I know Zlin has now started this, I was meant to when i had TX at Repromeda back in 05/07, but they got around it for us as it was not mentioned until day of ET, the Dr's there presumed it happened in U.K, so we had no time to get it done.
This clinic also want to see you before commencing treatment, which i think is crucial if one has never done IVF/TX before. Also they give  a free fresh go after 3 failed cycles in a row, which is stated clearly on there info on webb site and they also give there live birth stats.
Linda I think Zlin is a sister clinic to Reprofit and its the same price, but a friend told me they charge a bit for there drugs as she got hers cheaper here in UK after her BFP.

Karen, I am not over or close to 50 or single so that's fine, but what is "solicitor document" ? So how do you prove whether you are single or not, even married women can use donor sperm and even married women can go to the clinic alone for treatment, some DH can't travel and some women bring the sperm with them. So what documentation must you provide, just curious.

To tell you the truth i did not understand very well, but I think its something to do with proving who you are like a person signs your passport in UK. They have in CZ fertility solicitors and Repromeda presumed they had them in UK. I know Repromeda Dr's vouched for us. I dont think its anything to do with things  you mentioned.
I see aruck on Zlin thread has had to do this, so ask her please to explain as she is a lot more intelligent than me.

Dear whynotme

Thanks for posting on an alternative clinic to Reprofit.  I have an appointment with Reprofit in December (booked last December!) but may well go to UNICA in the meantime.  I have e-mailed them and got a very speedy response.  They said I could start straight away if I want.  We have already done a cycle with Fertimed this year (BFN) and are about to embark on another (as we still have a frozen sperm sample there) but I really want to do a cycle with a designated donor using fresh sperm and this is not the way Fertimed prefer to operate.

Im on the cancellation list at Reprofit but would go to Unica if needed. the price is reasonable at 4500euro-what is an extra 600euro after all the zillions we spent and if they are professional and not too busy, why not? they have been around longer than Reprofit , I sent them an email and they responded quickly. the only problem is that DH has frozen  at Reprofit and I would not be able to convince him to go for another appointment or move sperm, it will put him off anymore treatment and Im trying not to annoy him since Ive dragged him to already to Spain(with Success) now Ive taken us to Czech Republic We will stay at reprofit for the last attempt, hopefully in the next 3 months

Albarinho glad to hear the responded quickly, the main reason for my post is to offer another option wow you have been waiting since December and still have another 5 months to go. Hi there Ladies 

I really do think it is good to post about other options on the Czech thread so 'Thank you' for that 
As you have pointed out we all have different circumstances so some options will not be available for some but will be for others 

Most Ladies on the thread are loyal to Reprofit and rightly so as the people they have worked miracles for some. Remember, that one of the first ladies on here took the 'Bull by the Horns' and tried it, we have to remind ourselves that otherwise some of us may now have lovely families or be pregnant! 

The point I am trying to make is that, YES, please tell us about new places ideas etc but please dont put a downer on Reprofit, thats personal opinion, and NO I didnt take offense but others might......

One other thing..I am a returning patient at Reprofit and I, Yes, had a little wait for a Fresh cycle after a failed cycle but certainly not anywhere near the New patient wait, so I am happy with that. I do think that after a failed cycle you do need to let your body recover a bit and settle before trying again.

Anyway I wish you all the most sincere  with your up and coming cycles 
I hope I have been able to get my view over without sounding like I am being 'Funny'

You can get some or all of your DHs transfered to other clinics.
My DH has 5 vials remaining at ReproMeda from one pot and they are happy to transfer it.
You will have to asked both Unica & ReproFit what red tape you need to get through and they will advise and email you any forms to be filled inn, to be returned by land post as signatures are needed.

Agree Joy having options are good, I don't think anyone on this thread has put Reprofit down or tried to offend,  I appreciate Whynotme's positive energy if anything she has redirected potential negative comments. However keep in mind we all have the right to express ones opinion good, bad or indifferent. Because even on the main Reprofit threads people have voiced concerns. But this thread wasn't started to put down anything or anybody it's merely to give options 

Yes Karen sperm can be sent to other clinics especially locally not hard to do at all.

 

Got word today from a friend in Brno, they loved Unica, very professional I was told.

I think I wont transfer the   as Im really really just doing a final cycle, im already losing interest gradually in the whole ivf stuff. I just hope i get a donor before december so I can cycle and move on
ive had no probs with Reprofit but just general lethargy in trying again, im   it will be a BFP but if it aint, it aint. whynotme I hope you have a successful cycle!
